There will NOT be any Head Start at PHCS next Friday the 14th, thank you!

Just a reminder that on Friday the 14th of January there will be an Early Release for the entire school. UPK and Head Start will release at 11:30am and K-12 will release at 1PM.

The NHS raised over 500lbs of food at the conclusion of our Holiday Food Drive. With assistance from Irene Perry from the Hopkinton Food Pantry, we delivered 17 boxes of non-perishable goods on 12/21/22. A huge thank you to the community members, parents, students, and teachers that helped make such generous donations.

The 7:00pm Willy Wonka show will be canceled tonight, Saturday, December 18, due to poor weather conditions. Anyone who bought tickets for tonight's show can attend the 3:00 pm Sunday (12/19) show.

3rd and 4th Grade parents: Your child's 2 tickets for the ELEMENTARY HOLIDAY CONCERT on Tuesday December 21, 2021 are coming home in their folders today. Please hold onto them and present them at the door on the night of the concert and we will check your name off our attendance list. 5-12th Grade parents: Your child will pick up their 2 tickets for the MIDDLE/HIGHSCHOOL HOLIDAY CONCERT on Monday December 20, 2010 at school, either in the Front Office or during practice with their music teachers. Please hold onto them and present them at the door on the night of the concert and we will check your name off our attendance list. Reminder that each student gets 2 tickets per concert due to Covid restrictions, please wear a mask. Thank you.

The National Honor Society is having a food drive! Starting today through December 17th. Please drop off your donated items to one of the front offices at school and we will be sure the NHS receives them. Here is a list of suggested items:

Canned Fruit and Vegetables
Canned Stew
Canned Beans, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Rice, Instant mashed potatoes


Several of our PHCS teachers recently attended a conference in Boston called "Calming Anxious Brains".
The purpose of this conference is to help "Teach and treat students with anxiety, depression, and academic learning loss."
We feel very fortunate to have such a great team at our school!

Reminder: Modified Basketball is starting!!

Please see some pictures from our Outdoor and Wilderness Education field trips. From The Wild Center, to SUNY Potsdam, to the lone White Pine grove in the Adirondacks, Ms. Kennen led them on some sorely missed adventures.

The Fall Varsity Sports Banquet Is tomorrow at 6 pm for all Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer, Football, Cross-Country, and Volleyball and will be held at the Fireman's Field in Parishville. A spaghetti dinner will be served with awards to follow. Please let Mr. Engstrom know by this evening if you're going to be attending and the number that will be joining you.
