Several of our PHCS teachers recently attended a conference in Boston called "Calming Anxious Brains".
The purpose of this conference is to help "Teach and treat students with anxiety, depression, and academic learning loss."
We feel very fortunate to have such a great team at our school!

The chilly weather has arrived! And there are several coats and jackets that have been found.
If your child has a missing jacket, please encourage them to stop by the Lost and Found pile on the table in the Main Entrance at school.
The Parishville-Hopkinton Central School District Board of Education held its annual Board Retreat “A Culture of Leadership” a week ago at the Parishville Town Hall. This 90-minute presentation facilitated by Patrick Longo from the New York School Board Association (NYSSBA) was free of charge to the District. The Board retreat was designed to illuminate how school boards can positively affect district culture by examining each member’s ability to model leadership for their students and staff. It offered the Board a chance to discuss and implement simple but effective adjustments in processes, communication, and behaviors by noting current strengths and areas in need of improvement with the goal of committing to self-evaluation and on ongoing professional development supported by effective Board goals and district policies.
The PHCS Community is grateful for your service to the district and to the well-being of our students and faculty.
